The Craft Center provides all sorts of knowledge about ceramics through displays and opportunities for trying your hand at making ceramics.
Do you know how ceramic ware is made? Here, you can have a chance to see first hand Noritake's expertise and technology, from pottery forming to china painting. See how earth, fire and the craftsman's hands combine to create a sense of drama.

The Artist's Club - Potter's Wheel Class (membership fee)

A skilled Noritake artisan who has long been involved in ceramics demonstrates how to form and assemble a bone china figurine. Enjoy the unique and unsurpassed experience of seeing Noritake craftsmanship firsthand. You can also join the Potter's Wheel Class.

A skilled craftsman demonstrates how to paint china beautifully with a variety of techniques including hand painting. Transfer and gold line finishing. Participating in the Hands-on China Painting Corner is sure to give you lasting memories of your visit. A China Painting Class and Porcelain Craft Class are also offered.
