E-MTR-0002-00 http://www.noritake-elec.com
Objective: To compare the difference in readability at low temperature.
Displays used:
- VFD module: CU20025ECPB-W1J (top) http://www.noritake-elec.com/uversion...
- LCD: HDM20216L (bottom)
Weather conditions:
- Temperature: - Mean: 6 °F - High: 17˚F - Low: -5˚F
- Moisture: - Dew Point: -4°F - Average Humidity: 60 - Maximum Humidity: 76 - Minimum Humidity: 43
- Wind: - Wind Speed: 6 mph (SW)
- Max Wind Speed: 16 mph
- Max Gust Speed: 23 mph
- Visibility: 10 miles
Results: At lower temperature the LCD (bottom) has slow response time whereas the VFD is unaffected.
